Elite Veteran Posts: 864    Location: Bartlett, TN | This Saturday the 9th is the Euro Cruise-In at the Sonic on Germantown Parkway south of Dexter Road. It starts at 6:30pm (this Sat. is the 2nd Sat. of the month). I plan on being there. SO, lets see how many of us can make it... If it will start to cool down I will see if I can set up an MR2 meet at our usual location (Sonic in Bartlett on Summer (Hwy 70) at Appling Rd.). It is at least shaded with trees & has pic-nic tables to sit at. I will let everyone know when & then I will set up some more STUFF! Daniel  | ||

Donnie, I'm about to start making dates for MR2 meets & "other meets." So, PM or e-mail me your schedule & I will try to set up meets around both our shift days. Daniel  | ||

Germantown Parkway (Memphis, TN 38016) at 6:30 pm (1830 hours). Be the FIRST to see the LED's & the new suspension. The "Raptor" will REALLY BE THERE WITH ME! I have kind-of felt like Eric for the last 8 months. But, at least mine was only off the road for 8 months.  Daniel | ||

Not a problem I will start a thread on when, where & time & see what works best for folks. NOW, as for the meet! It was nice to be back out in the MR2. There were some nice cars there. I can't remember the lady & gentleman's names but they had a SPOTLESS & BEAUTIFUL Z3 "M" model. White with a black/blue interior & blue top. It was in awesome shape & I would have loved to have driven it. Ken was there in the V6 MR2, such a nice car! Chris was there with his lovely wife & their Lotus. My son-in-law just loves this car. James & his lovely wife came "cruising" in with their BMW convertible. Most of us were expecting the Spyder, but Susan's Bimmer is really nice & immaculate. I am terrible at remembering names. But, another gentleman had a spotless Delorean there. Was neat to sit in one, I have never done that. Travis showed up with his Orange Lotus Elise with LOUD exhaust (from a mk2 MR2 even, HKS IIRC). You can tell it is NOT a garage queen. THEN Travis left & came back with the "CIVETTE", yes his Corvette chasis/motor with a Civic body on it. Sick, it is just sick. I would love to drive it though. Another gentleman showed up in a real nice Jensen Healey. It was really cool! Another gentleman had a "modified" Maxima there. Another gentleman showed up in a Twin Turbo 300zx. This guy was really nice & knew a LOT about all the cars there, even called my engine by name (3sgte). A couple kids showed up in a S2000 with a LOUD exhaust. But, it was a real clean S2000 & it did look good. Benji was there in his V6T MR2. I will be glad when he gets it painted. It will really be FAST though when he gets that engine sorted out. Then another nice gentleman had a Fiat Spyder that was in GREAT shape. So, all in all it was a very good meet. Too bad no one else could come on out. Toyota had a big showing as several Scion TC's came through & had to "look" at all the cars. As mentioned, it was REAL NICE to me back out in "The Raptor" & the weather was really nice too.
